Starting a Diaper Bank – TIME

The latest issue of TIME Magazine features an article on a social worker who started a diaper bank in Connecticut. The article (click on the photo to read it)nicely explains the necessity of such diaper banks as well as potential ways to grow from diapers to larger issues of health and hygiene for children living in poverty. We too have a diaper bank. We’re often out of two or three sizes, and then parents have to try to adapt the wrong sizes to their kids’ bodies. Sometimes it’s not possible and they go home empty-handed. If you would like to donate diapers, please check our wish list to see which sizes we are currently most in-need of. We also occasionally tweet about diapers, or update our Facebook status, so be sure you follow us on both of those! Thank you very much for your help!
